How to Hide A File In An Image On Your Laptop Or PC

 In the course of this tutorial we will be using the C:\New folder.

  • Place the file(s) you wish to merge plus the image file and keep them in one folder [C:\New Folder];
      • For easier remembrance lets always refer to the image file as abc.jpg
      • And the file will be referred to as TextDoc.txt
  • Move/Add the files you want o bind plus the image file to a WinRar format (.rar or .zip) and name it. Let our own folder name be hidden.rar
  • Now press your start key or simply navigate to the start and open command prompt by Start> Run > cmd
  • In the command prompt screen that opens,  locate the folder in C:\ by typing "cd location" example [cd C:\New Folder]
  • Type [copy /b abc.jpg + hidden.rar abc.jpg] (remove the brackets and bolded)

Congrats on your latest achievement because anyone viewing this file will see it as a JPEG and the file will act like a JPEG, is a JPEG and currently contains your hidden file (s).

How to view or extract your hidden files

Two options are available for you to choose from and they include:
  • -          Change the file extension from abc.jpg to abc.rar, then double click to open and see your file(s)
Or
  • -          Leave the file extension as it is, right click on the file and select open with Winrar to see your file(s)

Enjoy the trick of Windows
