Truth be told, I have been
praying for a day like this in our telecom industry; for co0mpetion to be high
and let Android, Windows and IPhone users be smiling always.
Yesterday I got a message from Airtel NG that read “Pay N1500 ONLY for 2 months BlackBerry Unlimited plan and Enjoy 4GB valid for 60 days! Dial *440*161# to get yours Now”.
Remember this plan from
Airtel was taken down few months ago when they sent that annoying message to probably
everyone that BIS will no longer work on non-blackberry device. Now this is making
a lot of sense because 4GB for 1500 will really go a long way for iPad/iPhone,
Windows and Android users who cannot risk the Glo BIS process on their device.
Airtel NG must have realized the amount of customers they’ve
lost who ported to and are still are porting to other better networks within
this short while.
The question you need to ask
yourself now is, should I rather go for this Blackberry Unlimited Plan for 1500
4GB or remain stuck to Glo BIS 3GB for 1k?
Also remember that, PDProxy and Yourfreedom is still rocking well with
Airtel #0.0.
How to get this Airtel Unlimited 4GB Plan
- Recharge your Airtel Sim with #1500 on your and
- Then dial *440*161#
- Now, you will get a message that your Airtel Unlimited Plan is active.
Eligibility for this Plan
Once you get this message
like I did you are eligible. But to be safe, before recharging dial *440*161#
and the network prompt you will get will tell you if you are eligible or not.
Currently this plan works on every
Nokia, iPhone/iPad, Android, Windows and Blackberry phones.
After you have subscribed,
set your APN to internet.ng.airtel.com, password and username: internet.
