MTN giving out free 1024mb (1GB)

I just got info from  a friend this morning that MTN gave him 1024mb for free! isn't that surprising?

How do I get this 1024mb?

• Simply insert an old MTN sim you have which you have forgotten for a while lets say 3weeks or 2weeks and above 
• Dial *559*4# and check if you are among the lucky numbers 

Will this work on my device?

It is expected to work on all devices even your Laptop. It will work on your blackberry phone but wont ping probably.
